Like a junior smart cover!

I purchased this case after exchanging the other Marware leather case which was quite awkward and just about doubled the Fire’s weight. I selected both the white and black colours and founf the white to be a little jarring like a Star Wars Hurricane Soldier costume writ huge. The black one nevertheless is the same color as the cover and mixes well with the Fire. The case easily functions as a stand with the lid tucked into the back nick.

I find it stands up well in spite of slight movement however the position is quite vertical. A Pleasant TRICK if you sort of rest the lid against the strap to make a shallower pitch and flip the device in the opposite sense as when utilising the stand correctly the Fire is in a great position for typing and lies at a 45 degree angle. The case is light and swish and appears to offer fine proterction but it does look high tech likea enormous bug carapace or such.

If you want the feel of a leather book such as the kindle 3 coever look somewhere else. But if you would like a tiny light cheap case that protects the Kindle and acts as a stand this is good value. I got my Kindle Fire a few days before the case arrived weeks previously than expected. It had been on backorder. I have a tendency to use the KF more for reading so the hand strap is an excellent feature for me. I also like that I’m able to stand the Kindle up at 1 or 2 different angles when I watch a video. Changing the angle helps reduce some or even all of the glare on the screen.

Best Kindle Cover!!!

I acquired this cover in green for myself about a year back and loved it so I just ordered one for my mum also. I like that it feels like you’re holding a real book and the built in night light is the best. You do not want any attachments or batteries so there’s nada to keep up wwhen traveling.

There were some critical reviews about the way in which the light fades over the face of the screen as you get further away but I’ve never noticed. It has been lots bright for me to read by even in pitch dark. I strongly recommend this cover for anyone that reads at night.

I totally love the Kindle Lighted cover. I purchased a clip-on light to use with my Kindle but found it was more suited to a standard book. Once I received my new lighted cover I discovered the best thing about it was I would not have to deal with batteries. Once the cover is connected to the Kindle the Kindle powers the light. The light turns on only if the Kindle is on when you pull it up. Push it back down and it’s off or turn off the Kindle and it goes off. Makes reading in the dark so straightforward.

Excellent quality, classy look, genuine leather, fits perfectly!!

I have been searching for a brilliant but fairly priced cover for my Kindle Keyboard for one or two weeks. My search stopped when I discovered theofficial Amazon Kindle Leather Cover. I ordered the cover in black but it is available in a few other colours as well burnt orange chocolate brown hot pink steel blue apple green and burgundy red. I chose black because I assumed it might contrast and compliment my White Kindle Keyboard.

I like the cover for lots of reasons. First off it is well made made in China. It is real leather not leatherette pleather vinyl that looks like leather. It is real leather. It has that great leather smell and the pebble finish is extremely satisfying to feel in your hand. The cover has an elastic closure band that keeps the cover closed when not in use and easily slips off when you want to open the cover to start using your Kindle.

The top cover simply flips behind the Kindle so expedite snug reading although the cover is still attached to your Kindle. Installing the cover on the Kindle could not have been easier. Hook Rotate Slide and Release. That is it. Your Kindle is safely fastened into the cover and is immediatley protected in order that it has a much better chance of surviving a drop. I could not be more happy with this cover. There are fake leather covers out there that cost as much as or more than this real leather cover.

This cover is available too with a light Kindle Lighted Leather Cover Black Fits Kindle Keyboard. That one is getting a little pricey for my blood. But I don’t really need a reading light so for me the basic leather cover this one works very well. I praise this cover for it’s quality of construction simplicity of installation and functionality. 5-stars
